About Us

Emma Everson, PhD, is a multilingual learner law and policy consultant with Everson Education. Her research examines educators’ legal knowledge and literacy pertaining to Multilingual/English learners (MLs/ELs). Emma formerly worked in legal compliance for the Indiana Department of Education in the Office of English Learners and Special Education. She also taught education law to pre-service teachers at Indiana University, Bloomington. Emma empowers educators, administrators, and leaders to be advocates to provide MLs/ELs with the education to which they are legally entitled.

Everson Education is for teachers, school administrators, and school districts that need guidance to ensure ELs receive the education to which they are legally entitled.
